TRAINER

JASLYN HARDER

YEARS AS ATHLETIC TRAINER    4 Years
YEARS AS A HORNET   4 Years
BACKGROUND/BIO

I graduated from Washington State University in May and got hired by ATI Physical Therapy in July. I work most mornings in the Bonney Lake clinic assisting physical therapists and working with patients. In my future, I hope to attend physical therapy school and begin a career as a physical therapist as well as an athletic trainer, so this position is pretty much my “dream just-out-of-college” job!  This is my first year as a licensed athletic trainer, but I have been gaining experience in sports medicine as a student starting in high school and all throughout my college career. I have experience working with all the WSU athletic teams including 10 weeks with the football team, a semester with the baseball team, a year with the track and field team, and 2-4 weeks with each of the soccer, rowing, basketball, and volleyball teams, throughout my 3 years in the Athletic Training Education Program. I have also worked with the University of Idaho’s football team, Lewis and Clark State College’s baseball team, a WSU team physician and physical therapist, as well as assisted in a research project on concussions during my time at WSU. This is my first year as a White River Hornet, and I am really excited to work with the teams to keep them healthy and on the field in the safest way possible.

FAVORITE FOOTBALL MEMORY

Because this is my first year, I haven’t gotten to make a “favorite” memory yet, but I have really enjoyed getting to know the players on our team and support them. The players and staff are a great group of people and have really made my experience enjoyable and I'm excited for my future here.
