YEARS COACHING  2 Years
YEARS AS A HORNET   2 Years
COACHING POSITION   Offensive Line
BACKGROUND/BIO

I am so excited to be a part of the Hornet Football program. I was born in Everett, WA and then my family moved around a lot. I played high school football at Blaine High School for Coach Jay Dodd. I went on to attend college and play college football. I spent one year at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska before transferring to Pacific Lutheran University.  While attending PLU and playing football I had the privilege of playing for Scott Westering and being an “EMAL”, and playing for Brant McAdams and help building a new program my senior season. I studied Elementary Education at PLU and earned a K-12 Special Education endorsement.

I am currently teaching at White River High School in the ‘Thrive’ program, which focuses on supporting students with behavioral needs. I have a passion for working with young people to help build them into who they want to be. I take full responsibility for trying to provide the best educational and athletic experience to every student and athlete I work with. I had great coaches and teachers, and I hope to pay that forward.

FAVORITE FOOTBALL MEMORY

My favorite football memory is playing my first game at PLU opening the 2016 season against California Lutheran at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup. I remember being very nervous/anxious. One of our assistant coaches, Jim Sutrick, walked up to me and said, “Adam, I am so excited that you get to experience and be a part of PLU football today,” which immediately put me at ease. We ended up scoring on the first drive of the game and winning 17-14.
